This is a blend of the Volnay Bourgogne lieu-dit Les Longbois, an historical De Montille parcel, and two parcels around Puligny. Due to the quality of fruit that year, Brian took the unusual step to use one-third whole-bunch which lends a little twist of freshness and structure to the finish, balancing the ripe red berry fruit to give a rather serious Bourgogne.
