Grand Vin is Cuvelier's “First Label”. They like to introduce their Grand Vin as the Argentinean cousin of Château Léoville-Poyferré, 2nd Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Julien, their family’s most renowned Estate in Bordeaux, France. These are polished but characterful wines inspired by the modern Bordeaux style with the help of super-consultant Michel Rolland. In honor of that famous region, the wine is backed by Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, but since Malbec is traditionally the most important variety in Argentina, that's what drives the wine. This is really classy with deep blackberry, violet and blueberry aromas and flavors. It’s full-bodied and super refined with integrated tannins that spread across the palate. So polished and refined. 69% Malbec, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot and 3% Syrah.
