From the cellars of Zuberoa Jatextea, a celebrated Michelin-starred restaurant in San Sebastian that closed in 2022. Its owner, Hilario Arbelaitz, was a legendary collector and connoisseur, whose cellar was stuffed with classics modern and old.  El Coto had its first vintage in 1970, but it is one of the largest wineries in producers in Rioja, hence the price for this older vintage release. Were able to grab one case, sight unseen, but we had to grab it without tasting for a $35 wine from 1995. While this is not the reserve, this vintage seems to be showing well.
