Domaine Anne Gros is the daughter of Francois Gros. Anne arrived in the Vosne-Romanee family estate to assist her father and since 1988, she has taken over the estate of her father François. Anne Gros simply is one of the top winemakers in Burgundy today, which explains why her wines have inspired such a cult-like following. This is a fresh wine with citrus notes (lemon) and exotic tropical fruits of banana, pineapple and passion fruit. The mineral structure is moderated with hints of iodine and a slight saline quality complements this wine, which would complement raw or grilled fish, shellfish in a court-bouillon, white meat, charcuterie without garlic and goat cheese. We recommend you drink this wine young, while still fruity. It makes an excellent aperitif as it awakens the taste buds.
