Consistently one of the highest rated Napa wines under $100. This is an ultra pure rich, polished, modern Napa Cabernet with flavors of cassis, blackberry preserve, mocha, cedar and woodsmoke. The move towards a slightly less pushed style, with less overt oak signatures, has paid off big time. The blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec, and 3% Merlot, aged 20 months in 80% new French oak.
