Grignolino is very much a misunderstood varietal, with most of its fans coming from within the Piedmonte region. We see this varietal as a cousin to Nebbiolo, maybe a little brighter and fresher. Grignolino is notoriously a little more difficult to work with, giving remarkable tannins and containg more pips in each small berry than most other grape varieties. Sette's expression is bright with aromas of florals, green herbs, white pepper and smacks of wild strawberry fruit. Drink lightly chilled.
