Holus Bolus is the husband-and-wife team of Peter Hunken and Amy Christine, MW. They are two of the most respected winemakers in Santa Barbara County. Peter has mastered his craft since 2001, making wine at Stolpman and Piedrassasi. Amy earned her Master of Wine in 2013, making her one of only fourteen women in the US to achieve this remarkable feat. 2022 Holus Bolus Syrah is a blend of two fine Syrah sites, the historic Bien Nacido Vineyard and the newer Portico Hills Vineyard in Los Alamos. Dark fruit flavors, excellent texture and moderate alcohol of 13.5%. 160 cases produced.
