Pierre Ménard has been based in Faye d'Anjou since 2013. After several winemaking internships around the world (Portugal, Hungary, Canada, and New Zealand), the winemaker took over his parents' estate. A rising star of Anjou Noir, he is first and foremost passionate about astronomy. The lunar cycles dictate the rhythm of the vines and each key stage of winemaking, right up to the creation of the precious wines. These wines reflect the identity of a given plot and are sometimes named after planets or stars. Cabernet Franc blend. A singular rose, vinous and with great structure, light color, and an expressive nose of red fruit and spice. Works wonderfully with summer dishes, a great aperitif, or food wine. As always Pierre uses native yeasts and this delicious rose spends one month in barrel before bottling.
