Founded in 1662, Masumi has long been considered one of the great names in sake production. Grand Prix is a sparkling sake that complements Japanese cuisine and beyond. It is a sake that will please both Champagne and sake enthusiasts. Crafted using the traditional Champagne method, the second fermentation in the bottle gives Masumi Sparkling a refined bubble structure absent in gas-injected sake. Aging for nearly two years imparts a balanced and smooth character to Masumi Sparkling Grand Prix. It boasts a gracious umami presence, followed by savory depth in the midpalate and a lingering honey finish. This sparkling sake pairs excellently with washed-rind cheeses and risotto, particularly lobster and truffle. Additionally, it complements dishes like miso black cod and sea bass. Serve chilled for the best experience.
