Altano is produced by the Symington family, known for their long and distinguished history of producing premium Vintage Ports in the Douro. As a natural extension of their interest in and dedication to the Douro Valley, the Symingtons began producing Douro DOC table wines seriously in 1999. Sourced from the family’s 26 vineyards, a total of 275 acres, the Altano range of wines includes four labels—three red table wines and one white table wine.  A lively, well-spiced red, with an appealing mix of brambly boysenberry, cherry, violet and blood orange peel flavors sculpted by light, taut tannins, ending with a minerally finish. Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. Drink now through 2030.
