Luis Seabra is considered one of Portugal’s greatest winemakers. His style emulates White Burgundy as he ages some of the wines in the same style. Texture is both the name of this winery, and this particular cuvée. A dry white blend of Encruzado, Bical, and Cerceal Branco, the vines are up to 60 years-old. Fermented in both used oak, and stainless steel, it was aged for 11 months on the lees in the same containers. Medium-bodied, with complex aromatics of citrus, white flowers, and almonds, this will pair well with clams amd chouriço.
