First planted in 1872 by Swiss-Italian immigrants, Sorenson Vineyard has served as the beating heart of Burgess for more than 150 years. Climbing 800-1000 feet above sea level, Sorenson vineyard is carved into the western-facing slopes and Haymaker Vineyard on the east-facing sides of Howell Mountain, overlooking the Napa Valley below.  This is a powerful, old-school wine from the exceptional 2019 vintage that is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon but includes a small blend of Petit Verdot and Merlot, giving it extra lift and complexity. Aged in 100% French oak for 22 months, the 2019 Contadina tastes delicious in its youth, but will continue aging gracefully for years to come. This is a rare offering at a tremendous value and drinking very well now.
