The Amarone Riserva DESTINÉE is dedicated to the grandparents Costanza and Giorgio Rubinelli. The carefully selected grapes rest for approximately four months in the estate's own tuff stone drying cellar. During this time, the grapes are dried and the aromas concentrated. Fermentation then takes place at cool temperatures. The wine is subsequently aged for approximately 10 years, first in 50-hectoliter oak barrels and then in the bottle. This wine is produced only in the best vintages in small quantities (only 1566 bottles were made in 2010). A Riserva of exceptional quality! Rich, shiny ruby garnet colour, concentrated. Very clear and intense nose of fresh, tree-ripened plums, as well as cassis, blood oranges, elderflower, wild raspberry, backed by fine savoury nuances. Deep and textured initially and when developing, lots of finely meshed tannins, clear fruit, very long juicy aftertaste - the wine has obviously benefited from years of bottle ageing. 40% Corvina, 40% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella, 5% Molinara, 5% Oseleta
