Vincent Girardin is a highly regarded Burgundy domaine based in Meursault. It makes a wide range of wines from both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay although the latter predominates.  Bourgogne Cuvée Saint-Vincent Pinot Noir displays a brilliant ruby color. The nose opens with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, cranberry, and wild strawberry, complemented by delicate notes of rose petal, soft spice, and a touch of earthiness. On the palate, the wine is fresh and silky, offering lively acidity, fine tannins, and juicy red-fruit flavors with hints of pomegranate and subtle herbal undertones. The finish is clean, vibrant, and subtly mineral, making this an elegant and versatile expression of Burgundy—approachable young yet capable of gaining nuance with short cellaring. From 35 year-old vines on clay and limestone in the Côte de Beaune, this medium-bodied dry red sees 30% new oak barrels. Aged for 15 months before bottling, this is rich with red fruits, a hint of sweet spice, and herbs. Pair with rillettes and Délice de Bourgogne.
