The vineyard takes its name from the site's fossil-rich soils, which sits 1,100 ft about the Santa Ynez Valley. Beezwax, lemon oil, and mint on the nose. On the palate are flavors of almond paste, dried herbs, marzipan all of which carry through to a long, complex and creamy finish in an oxidative style.
