Tua Rita is a winery situated in Suvereto, Tuscany. When Rita and Virgilio bought it in 1984, the land was supposed to offer just the picturesque surroundings in which they would live in touch with nature. Those original 2 hectares of vines have now become 51 hectares.Today, what started as amusing ‘vins de garage’, are wines that are exported everywhere in the world. Made with Vermentino, the 2022 Perlato del Bosco Bianco is a good value and the kind of wine you’ll want to pair with a fresh summer salad made with heirloom tomatoes and broadleaf basil. The trick is maintaining the acidity.
